We trimmed our stylesheets, slimmed the scripts and taught a few pages to stop loading things they never used. The result: noticeably faster first opens, especially on older phones and patchy connections.

Speed is a feature — nobody wants a loading spinner standing between them and a two-minute break.

There's more to squeeze, and we'll keep squeezing.

We measure the health of the site in quiet numbers: pages that load quickly, rounds that finish without a hiccup, and the occasional kind note through the contact form. By those measures, things are in good shape — and we would rather grow slowly than wobble.
